Hello everyone, it has been a long time and let me tell you I feel it. Over the last few months I have focused on producing and editing my first book to be published.
And guess what, it's finally past the first stages!
The book is in its Alpha writing stage, meaning I've got my first draft edited and it is currently off to my critique partner. I'm expecting word back in a few weeks where I will begin looking at the changes my partner suggests and overhauling the dumpster fire into the diamond I hope it will become.
If all goes well I am hoping to start looking for beta readers around March!
The doneness of the book is still up for debate though so March is a tentative date. I've never published, and while I've had a few critiques on pieces here and there, they were never very successful or fruitful. (Critique horror stories in the future maybe?)
Fingers crossed that things all go pretty smoothly and that it isn't the dumpster fire I feel it is.
The book is a little on the skinny side with just under 60k words, and is in the adult supernatural genre with a romance sub-plot. I am sooo excited to introduce you guys to the world later this year.
If the stars align I'm hoping to have the book published in the third or fourth quarter of this year!
