Hello everyone, it's been what, six months since my last update in February? What an eventful year this has been, and it's been a humbling one at that. This year started off with a bang, as I spent the first month in and out of hospitals with family members and fighting a constant illness myself. Later some pretty major life events uprooted the books production and ground much of what I'd like to do to a halt for what needed doing. I write today on August 29th, my 31st birthday actually, because this is honestly the first moment I've taken to breath.
Life is full of stress, it throws one hurdle at you after another, sometimes grouped together. But the goal is to keep climbing. Climb even if you cannot see the top, even if it is one foothold at a time. Even when you fall, and the rope is all that's there to catch you. Even when you are all there is to catch you. Because eventually, the top will be in view.
I don't see the top right now, but I'm climbing, and the first rest stop is in sight.
Hollows News
It's almost ready! The trailer is out as of a week ago, after months of grueling work and nearly a year of preparation. Hollows will be out October 1st, one month before its two-year birthday. It is surreal to be standing here with only a few more steps left in the publishing journey and a release date in hand. Honestly, I could cry. I hope to become more active on the YouTube channel here soon to show off more artwork, snippets, and what not.

Angelus has finished up its first chapter. There is so much to evaluate about what I can do for projects that do not bring in any money and may never. At the moment I simply do not have the luxury to devote much time to passion projects so while the second chapter is still in the works, and production on it should start back up around October-November there is a lot still up in the air about how it will be produced. Namely, if it will still be colored or revert to a more easily producible black and white / manga style, and what it's upload schedule will look like. I fully intend to finish up the initial three chapter run of the series! Honestly it has been so fun creating it, sadly full color pages take a long time to do right and well.
It has really been an eventful, humbling, and stressful year. But there are still four months left in 2023, and many more in 2024 after that. A continued effort to grow, produce, and delve into the worlds I love to create will be pushed. One day at a time, one word at a time.
